A seasoned retail manager with a passion for training and developing others. I have over 25 years of retail management experience. I started in small specialty retail with companies like GNC and Waldenbooks and transitioned to big box retail and multi-unit training for 20 years. Leaving retail I joined the Supply Chain.With Barnes & Noble I developed from entry level management to a multi-unit district trainer. I spent 18 years as a Store manager in various locations in New Mexico and Florida. I learned about P&L management, HR basics, Loss prevention and found a passion for training and development. This passion lead me to being a district trainer.I came to Target to learn another side of retail. I started as a Operations Manager in the selection area of Target Food Distribution Center. I Managed a team of 50+ team members in order filling across two chambers for 200+ stores. As a team we fulfill 22-60 thousand cartons. I am now a leader in the Engineering & Facilities department where we work as a team to drive a safety culture. With preventative and corrective maintenance we strive to maintain uptime of our automated equipment and meet the needs of our guests.
