My qualifications include: • I have a demonstrated ability to enforce environmental regulation as shown by my experience in my current and previous positions where I have prepared permit documentation and annual/monthly compliance reports for a variety of projects. This includes having extension knowledge and experience with the following regulations/permits: SEPA, NEPA, CEQA, Biological Opinion, BA/BE, ITP, ESA, MBTA, CWA, CAA, MSAA, JARPA, and EIR/EIS process. • Throughout my career I have worked in several positions which involved performing restoration monitoring and biological surveys. This includes my current position as an Environmental Associate Consultant/Biologist where I perform vegetation and wildlife surveys, wetland delineations, and annual restoration site monitoring. • As an Environmental Compliance Specialist at Flatiron Construction for three years I worked as a liaison supporting subcontractors, construction management, archeologists, tribal members, engineers, and biologists on the 65+ mile California High Speed Rail CP 2-3. This support included: providing practical recommendations and solutions, maintaining communication of progress, coordination and management of environmental documentation, scheduling staff, and ensuring that all construction activities met compliance with several key permits. In my current position, I also coordinate with a variety of staff in preparation of permit applications and supporting documentation, while overseeing key construction staff. • Throughout my ten years of professional experience I have had the opportunity to work with several endangered species and species of concerns including spring and fall-run Chinook Salmon, Sockeye, Steelhead, California Spotted Owls, Swainson’s Hawks, Western Pond Turtles, and Blunt-Nosed Leopard Lizards. I have developed my skills through workshops and professional experiences such as performing surveys and monitoring. Additionally, I continue to seek opportunities to continuously expand upon my knowledge regarding the Endangered Species Act and other environmental concerns. • I have overseen several large databases for quality and accuracy of data entry. One such database includes managing the Environmental Mitigation Management Application (EMMA) for all biological and cultural records for mitigation measure association accuracy on the California High Speed Rail CP 2-3.
