I am currently a graduate student in California State University, Northridge's Marriage and Family Therapy program. As a young, Black soon-to-be licensed therapist I intend to uplift Black communities through mental wellness and awareness. Mental health has been deemed taboo within many Black households for generations and has seemingly been unacknowledged for far too long. With that being said, I am currently rebranding my blog dedicated to Black mental health and wellness in which I utilize my education in psychology as well as marriage and family therapy. I intend on promoting Black mental health and wellness through this blog by connecting Black consciousness to self-discovery.
