About Chiara Alfieri

I recently concluded my university career with a Master Degree in Management and Corporate Communication. This path has further increased my aspiration to work in marketing and corporate communication, a field I am already having the pleasure of discovering as an External Communication Intern in the Global Communication & External Relations function of the Chiesi Pharmaceutical Group. I’ve worked several jobs to get to know the work environment and to challenge myself and my competences. The world of catering and hospitality has allowed me to develop soft skills such as teamwork, decision making and time management thanks to the direct contact with customers, colleagues and managers. I decided to start my university path in the marketing and management areas when I got to know these disciplines during my Bachelor degree in Foreign languages and cultures where, other than following these new courses I had to improve my language skills in English and Spanish and take on a new one: the Arabic language. In fact, I graduated from a linguistic high school where my studies were focused on English, Spanish and French language. My bachelor degree gave me the opportunity to complete a six-month-long Erasmus program in Spain where I had the chance to study marketing, Spanish and Arabics from a different point of view. I also got to develop many soft skills such as adaptability, networking and critical thinking. During high school I spent an entire year abroad, in the United States, where I got my American high school diploma. Living abroad made me a fluent English and Spanish speaker: I earned, in fact, the C1 certification for both languages. These kind of experiences made me the woman I am today: as an open-minded extrovert being with people, expressing my creativity and creating connections is what makes me feel alive the most. I’m always eager to learn and determined to challenge myself for personal growth.
