About Chiara Anzolini

I am a Junior Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Department of Biology, University of Padova, where I explore innovative approaches to science communication and public engagement, contributing to the National Biodiversity Future Center. My academic journey began with a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences at the University of Padova, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alberta (Canada), where I deepened my expertise in geosciences. Specifically, my work focused on the in-situ characterisation of inclusions in super-deep diamonds and the determination of their depth of formation. Recognizing the importance of bridging science and society, I transitioned into the field of science communication, earning a Master's from SISSA in Trieste. This blend of research experience and communication skills enables me to develop and implement creative strategies for engaging diverse audiences with complex scientific topics.
