About Chiara Bramani

I got my master in Communication Sciences - Business and Institutional Communication at Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, in 2003, with a final thesis about environmental communication in businesses, in particular analyzing the role of EMAS - Eco-Management and Audit Scheme - in business communication. After that study, from 2003 to 2007, I had the chance to work at University Politecnico of Milan - Italy - being involved in research and applied projects in the field of technologies for education, acquiring competences and expertise in project management, contributing with ideas and creativity. I continued my experiences in the academic sector being involved since 2007 to 2014 in some research projects in the field of education, tourism and technologies at Università della Svizzera italiana. In 2017 I could realize a personal dream having the possibility to start working in the non-profit sector as I was hired as marketing and fund raising manager in a non-profit enterprise in Lugano, named Seed At seed I have acquired strong competences in project management to the full spectrum - from design, to implementation, to evaluation - with the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial and innovative climate even with the high commitment of working with social issue as main goal. Since January 2014 to 2017 I was executive director at Seed. At the end of 2017 I decided to end my collaboration at an operational level because I wanted to dedicate more time to my children, but I continue to be member of the association. In 2014 I became parte of the stimulating and eclectic team of Consultati SA - Switzerland, working as project manager in the social and environmental field. Some of the experiences: external consultant in the management of the Cantonal program for the prevention of tobacco use and responsible for the communication strategy; collaboration in the project MontagnePulite for the promotion of an effective management and sustainable use of mountain huts in Ticino; external consultant for the municipality of Cadenazzo in support to the certification process of “Città dell’energia” and in support to the communication management after the certification; evaluation of projects in the social field.
