A Registered Dietitian with a Masters of Public Health in Community Nutrition, I've found my passion in nutrition communications, with skills in both traditional tactics and social networks. Trained in media relations and interview skills and is responsible for the management of the @CdnSugarNutr Twitter account. Sometimes I have the opportunity to step away from my computer and have presented research results at five National conferences as well as presentations on nutrition labelling regulations to member company staff. The other part of my job I love most is the opportunity to contribute to dietetic education as a preceptor dietetic interns and Masters-level practicum students for community placements of 6-12 weeks.
