Currently I live and work in Milan as a Nephrologist in the Nephrology Team at San Paolo and San Carlo Hospitals. During the COVID 19 pandemic emergency I worked in the Covid unit of Policlinico H in Milan. RESEARCH ACTIVITY San Paolo H (Milan): I worked as a researcher at the Nephrology Research Laboratory, where I have run experiments on in vitro cell lines in order to evaluate the pro-calcifying effects of serum from patients suffering from end stage renal disease. Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm): I worked as a researcher and developed a molecular biology project aimed at evaluating the levels of cell free DNA in the plasma of patients suffering from CKD 5, before and after kidney transplantation. San Carlo H (Milan): I have been the co-investigator of the FALCON study which was a phase international, multicenter, double-blind study on the efficacy and safety of Bardoxolone Methyl in patients suffering from ADPKD.
