About Chiara Tefa

My current employment as Apparel Developer in Oakley allowed me to acquire excellent skills on all the development process. The main task of this job is to fulfill designer request and expectation making “the magic”. I strictly work with design team to understand inspiration mood, garment features and functions. My daily task is to focus on fabrics and accessories research to achieve technical requirements for each style of the collection. In this department I travel each season in Asia for launching the collection in the factories. With this activity I contribute to improve proto quality by 80%. In Oakley I have the responsibility to manage new intern to carefully organize his work in order to achieve a fluent development process. However, I am not only a product developer; I define my self a designer, too. Infact, I gained a rich and multifaceted experience in creative research, trends and analysis of fabrics and yarns during my previous job as designer in Robe Di Kappa. I strongly studied the market and I designed new woman collection stories. In this way I was able to capture new and younger target, differently from the standard of the brand. Both of these two jobs empowered me to gain a full competence in the fashion workfow and my personality is encouraged everyday to focus in the “to do better” attitude.
