About Chiara Tornabene

With over seven years of experience in education, I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic and career goals. As an academic advisor at Aurora University, I mentor and advise undergraduate students in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Actuarial Science, Biology and Chemistry. I value collaboration, creativity, and curiosity, and I strive to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds and abilities. Prior to joining Aurora University, I was a high school science teacher at New Oxford Senior High School, where I taught and created engaging lessons in physical science, earth science systems, and chemistry. I also founded and advised the Italian club, served as a Saturday school proctor, and was a member of the SAP team. I have multiple certifications in science teaching, as well as skills in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Photoshop. I also speak three languages: Italian, English, and Spanish.
