About Chiara Valentini

I am currently Full Professor and act as Head of Corporate Communication Discipline at Jyväskylä School of Business and Economics, Finland. Previously I was Associate Professor of Corporate Communication at the Department of Management School of Business and Social Sciences, Aarhus University, Denmark. My area of expertise is Social and Digital Media Communications, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Crisis/Risk Communication, Public Affairs and Government Communications. I have published various articles on these topics in international contexts both in Italian and international peer-reviewed journals. Besides being a member of the European Public Relations Education and Research Association (EUPRERA), International Communication Association (ICA), European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA), I serve as scientific reviewer for several international journals and I am in the editorial board of few others. I also consult organizations seeking advice on their crisis/risk communications, government communications and stakeholder relations.
