About Chiayi Su

I have over 10 years PM experiences across consumer and enterprise products and 4+ years supply chain operation experience. I'm capable to handle things across these two fields. When I was a PM in ODM companies. I led projects from RFQ to MP and a few of them till EOL. I got high compliment with customers and was mentioned the performance in business review. My project management skill and leadership also recognized by the team. When I became senior PM in a team, I could assist my manager to coach junior PMs for the projects stuff or tasks. In addition to PM practical experience I also enhanced my PM knowledge theoretically. got PMP certified in 2015. In 2019, through my ex-colleague referral, i started exposure to supply chain/ operation field. I work for supply chain operation team in Fortinet. I leveraged my previous experiences on manufacturing, materials CTB, product and manufacturing process relevant soi could get hang of this job quickly. Besides. by doing this job, I strengthen my soft skills such as driving suppliers and negotiate to achieve the target effectively. I also learnt some hard skills like Oracle/ excel functions(if, sumifs, vlookup, xlookup, iferror, and pivot) which help with data analysis such as inventory level monitoring and potential shortage heads up. Two years of COVID pandemic disrupt the supply chain which brought precious experience on mitigating shortages and make shipment of critical models timely. Through multiple sources implementation, materials transfer among CMs as well as prioritize models production after align internally and externally. As an experienced staff, I also engaged in process refine and make them process documents for follow internally as well as use for new hire training.
