Civil engineer with over 25 years Civil and Structural Engineering experience within Consulting, Construction and Client sectors in the UK and overseas. Multi-discipline experience in Railway sector including; Network Rail Works Delivery (Anglia Route), Crossrail IP (Elizabeth Line) Stations, Great Western Electrification (Infrastructure Projects), Network Rail Asset Protection & Optimisation – Outside Party, 3rd Party projects including Train Operating Companies, Transport for London, UKPN, others. Sound knowledge of NR’s engineering standards, RSSB, BS EN standards. Attributes of technical competence, project engineering; design & management, communication skills, independent technical / engineering judgement and responsibility. Sound knowledge and understanding of GRIP process on Network Rail IP (Capital Delivery), 3rd Party projects. Knowledge and understanding of Railway systems and interfaces. As DPE (designated Project Engineer), dealing with multi-disciplinary designs at Senior Engineer level, NRAP, TSI (Technical Specification for Rail Inter-operability), Safety in Design, ITPs, TQs and RFIs, Constructability issues, CDM / CSM RA. Systems Engineering competence, senior level client / stakeholder interface, monitoring for cost control.
