About Chidi Anunobi

Chidi has a unique blend of legal, business and technology skills gained from his extensive academic training and broad based work experience. Chidi was formerly a Senior Software Engineer at Verizon Communications where he helped in developing and maintaining software that manage Telephone Number administration. After Verizon, Chidi worked as a management/technology consultant for over ten years for KPMG Consulting and KPMG LLP. At KPMG, Chidi had both account development and project implementation responsibilities and led a variety of client engagements that span business and technology strategy, enterprise risk management, compliance and various business and technology transformation projects. In his role as the Principal Attorney at AnunobiLaw, Chidi draws on his diverse experience to provide quality counselling and representation to executives, corporations and entrepreneurs involved in disputes or matters affecting their businesses where the results really matter. Additionally, Chidi assists families involved in high stakes, high net-worth and contested divorce involving complex property division and child custody matters. Chidi recently expanded his practice to include advocating for clients that have suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of the negligence of doctors and hospitals (medical malpractice / negligence) and has achieved significant financial recoveries for his clients. Chidi holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Information Systems. He also holds an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, and earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. Chidi completed Executive Leadership Skills training at Yale University, and has been certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Manager since 2002. Chidi is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization-a distinction that only a handful of Texas Attorneys have attained. Chidi is a member of the Houston Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Project Management Institute, Fort Bend County Bar Association, Katy Bar Association and numerous other professional organizations. Chidi has received numerous awards and recognition including recognition by SuperLawyers for five straight years (2018 - 2022), Houstonia - Top Lawyer (2017 - Business Law), Lead Counsel (2019 - Family Law), etc. Chidi is admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas and all state courts in Texas, the United States Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
