As a software engineer at Trove Finance, I build applications and enterprise software that facilitate investing in capital markets. I work in a team of 10 software engineers to develop and maintain core microservices using Java and Vertx, as well as several back-office dashboards using React, Flask, MySQL, Celery, and Redis. I also led the development of an AML library and integrated a third-party financial crime prevention API for screening transactions, enabling the company to meet compliance requirements. Additionally, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, where I learned the fundamentals of software engineering. I also have certifications in Computer Professionals of Nigeria and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, demonstrating my proficiency and knowledge in the field.
