About Chima A.

I am a Computer Engineering major at Northwestern University with experience in Computer Hardware maintenance, repair, and technical upgrading. Prior to college, I spent 4 years working for Chicago Public Schools as a Tech Crew member and utilized my time managing teams of students and leading them to perform multiple technological repairs throughout the school. My status as a student worker employee became official in the summer of 2017, and I was able to be officially employed and paid by CPS for my work. I served a year-long stint as a Pep Band Coordinator for Lindblom Math and Science Academy during my first year of college, where I was hired by Chicago Public Schools as a seasonal worker and was responsible for teaching music to students and overseeing their game day and Pep Rally performances.In college, I continue my computer repair work as a freelance computer repair technician. I work with clients to solve their internet and hardware problems and give recommendations for hardware upgrades, improvements, and replacements.
