Chimango has over 20 years experience in the Mining, FMCG/Manufacturing, Telecoms and the Financial Sector. Key areas of interest and specialization include transformation, leadership and team development, strategic resourcing and creating high performance cultures. Chimango also has extensive multicultural experience having worked in multinationals as part of diverse leadership teams, she has also lived in Europe, North America and a number of African countries. During her career, Chimango has been involved in major change initiatives including: acquisitions/integrations; performance management implementation and entrenchment; job evaluations and company restructurings. She also has extensive experience working with Trade Unions and in collective bargaining negotiations. Specialties: HR Analytics; Strategic Resourcing and Recruitment, Team Development, Change Management and Compensation Structuring. Chimango graduated from the University of Warwick in the UK with an MSc in Economics, from the University of London with a BSc degree in Economics, and an MS degree in Consulting and Coaching for Change from HEC, Paris. Chimango is also a certified MBTI and Belbin practitioner.
