About Chioma Okoye

Chioma is a financial services professional with 21 years of tier one investment bank and trading venue experience in e-commerce, sales, marketing, origination, strategy development and execution. A strong communicator and relationship builder, she is tenacious, highly collaborative, and commercial. Chioma worked at Goldman Sachs in London for over a decade in a variety of roles within the Securities Division, primarily with an Emerging Markets focus. Having joined Tradeweb in 2015 as an Emerging Markets specialist, Chioma moved into European Credit in 2018 and ran the European Institutional Credit product team from 2020 to 2023. Now in Corporate Development, she is focused on Tradeweb's inorganic growth via partnerships, acquisitions and investments. Chioma was the winner of the inaugural (2020) Markets Media European Women in Finance award for 'Excellence in Trading Platforms'. Chioma is an active member of Tradeweb's Inclusion & Belonging Network, and Global Women's Network. She serves as a corporate advisor to the Cowrie Scholarship Foundation, a charity founded in 2020 that aims to fund 100+ disadvantaged Black British students through UK universities on full scholarships over the next decade. Chioma is also a member of 100 Women In Finance, an affinity group which aims to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage.
