I am an experienced geologist with strong GIS skills and 25+ years of diverse consulting experience with both private and public sector clients. I am a studio lead in the infrastructure practice managing a group of 5 amazing geologists. I have conducted field work, managed field staff with emphasis on safety, written geotechnical and geologic hazard evaluation reports and proposals, and targeted business development. My project experience includes utility corridors, roads, dams, parks, commercial development, sand and gravel mines, timber harvest evaluations and power generation facilities in the western United States. I have been involved in a variety of projects including investigations for shallow foundation systems, site development, construction monitoring, and channel migration zone evaluation. I love research. I have an in-depth knowledge of slope stability assessments in soil and rock in support of development of transportation, energy and infrastructure projects. I am known for my steadfast commitment to company protocol and industry regulations. And while I do enjoy the geology research work, I also take great pride in providing great service for clients. This is evident in the fact that I have a proven track record in delivering quality projects on time and within budget. I have experience in and enjoy mentoring Junior Staff. I have mentored them in drilling and test pit explorations, well installation, inclinometer installation, Williamson drive probe, Field-developed cross sections, unstable slope evaluation and landslide description, ArcGIS software including preparation of raw LiDAR data and GIS Pro mobile app. I have the following licensures: • Licensed Engineering Geologist in Washington state. • Registered Geologist in Oregon. • Professional Geologist in California and Idaho. • Qualified Expert for unstable landforms Washington State DNR.
