Chip wears at least two hats - he is a full-time paramedic and a part-time data scientist. Trained as an environmental scientist, he has spent most of his career combining an understanding of environmental systems with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), computer programming, database management and analysis. He has over 25 years’ experience helping people make their complex data sets more accessible and useful. Chip also has a long-time passion for Emergency Medicine. While these two areas may seem incongruous, they are both fundamentally about solving problems. He has been volunteering in his local community as an EMT since 2016 and now works as a full time paramedic for a busy 911 service in central Wisconsin.
