About Chip Lieber

In my earlier Construction Management Career I was fortunate to spend 15 years working with previous Bechtel staff representing the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. That environment engrained me with true Construction Management principals and prepared me with skills to excel in high dollar and intense construction environments. In addition to my diverse CM profile, including principle positions as Owners Representative, Construction Project Manager and Corporate Contracts Manager, I have spent time on the Contracting side, allowing me to better understand the needs from both Owner and Contractor perspectives. My background includes a heavy focus in contracts, change management, and dispute resolution, with a project portfolio in excess of managing multiple concurrent projects while working with clients, design and engineering consultants, contractors, and jurisdictional authorities to ensure successful projects from inception through construction and beyond. I focus on early efforts to highlight a clear understanding of project expectations with all project stakeholders helping designers address the clients needs and ensuring contractors address not only the construction tasks, but also the Owner's overall requirements.
