My journey began with a Bachelor of Commerce in Advanced Accounting & Auditing, followed by a Diploma in Business, laying the foundation for my expertise in financial reporting, NAV calculations, tax preparation, and process optimization. At FSI Inc. and CIBC, I wasn’t just managing financial data—I was solving problems, streamlining processes, and uncovering hidden opportunities. I led full-cycle accounting, NAVPU calculations for hedge funds, REITs, ETFs, and mutual funds, and year-end audit preparations. I also played a key role in new fund launches and reconciled in discrepancies, earning the Moment Makers Award at CIBC. But I knew the future of finance wasn’t just about accounting—it was about analytics. I honed my skills in Excel automation, VBA, and advanced financial modeling, leading initiatives that saved over in tax write-offs. To solidify my transition into data-driven roles, I earned the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, gaining hands-on experience in SQL, Tableau, R, and data visualization.
