About Chitvan Bindal

I began my career as a French and middle school teacher where I developed a deep passion for education and helping students thrive. However after moving to the United States I felt inspired to explore new ways to influence learning on a broader scale leading me to transition into the field of educational technology. At New York University I studied the principles and theories of learning sciences cognitive sciences and human-computer interaction design. This experience provided me with the expertise to design evaluate and implement media and technology that enrich the learning experience. Now as an EdTech Researcher I apply these insights to create user-centered research-driven solutions that foster engaging and effective learning environments. As a mother of two young boys I am constantly seeking ways to support their growth responsibly and thoughtfully. With AI becoming an integral part of modern life my curiosity has shifted toward understanding its transformative potential in education. Drawing on my background in EdTech research and my commitment to learning I aim to explore how AI can be leveraged to enhance education while ensuring that children understand both its vast opportunities and inherent risks. My goal is to guide the next generation in using AI as a tool for growth and learning while remaining aware of the challenges it may present. Outside of work and parenting I find balance through mindfulness practices energizing Bollywood dance workouts and experimenting with new Indian vegetarian dishes.
