About Chloe Brown

Chloë joined RJW & partners as a Director and co-owner in 2009. She worked as an employee until the end of 2020 and thereafter continued her involvement with the company on a part-time advisory basis. She has spent her career in the pharmaceutical sector with senior positions in market access and outcomes research consultancy, and management roles in clinical development in the industry. She has always taken a special interest in the French healthcare system. Prior to joining RJW & partners, Chloë was General Manager of Mapi Values in Lyon, France and sat on the Mapi Values Board for 3 years. In addition to managing the French team, who specialised in patient reported outcomes, she worked with colleagues in the UK and the Netherlands to provide clients with health economics and outcomes research support relevant to market access decision-makers. Chloë previously worked in the Market Access practice at Cambridge Pharma Consultancy (now part of IQVIA) for 8 years. It was here that she first gained her reputation for impactful communication of the clinical and economic value of products while delivering market access projects with tremendous attention to detail. Chloë’s in-depth understanding of clinical data comes from holding clinical research management positions with EU and US pharmaceutical companies for over 10 years. Her interest in drugs started during her time at the University of Cambridge (Girton and Trinity Colleges) where she gained a BA and PhD in pharmacology. Whilst working in market access consultancy, Chloë gained a diploma in health economics from the University of York. During her time in the pharmaceutical sector, Chloë had significant line management experience and enjoyed mentoring junior staff to help them reach their full professional potential while also taking care of their work-life balance. She maintains contact with many of her former colleagues and enjoys following their professional and personal progress. Now essentially retired, Chloë enjoys improving her knowledge of French and Spanish through courses at the U3A and Cambridge University Language Centre. Through these activities, she has made contact with international students and visiting scholars at the University of Cambridge and finds it rewarding to learn about their academic interests while helping them to improve their English and make the best of their time in Cambridge.
