About Chloe Duger

From a young age, I have always been fascinated by the complexities of the world and how science plays a crucial role in shaping our understanding of it. I remember learning that the most important question to ask is “why?” During my undergraduate career, I encountered many circumstances that made me constantly ask myself “why?” From research at THE Ohio State University to struggling during the pandemic, I found myself getting less answers and creating more questions. The neuroscience program taught me that if you think you know everything, you know nothing. Something I knew nothing about was the law — so, naturally, my curious self enrolled at the Charleston School of Law. As a current student at Charleston School of Law, I am constantly striving to challenge myself and reach new heights. I have received three CALI awards, am at the top 8% of my class, and have a journal publication. I have also helped other students develop research skills as a Lexis Associate and as a Teaching Fellow. I am continuously seeking out new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. My ultimate goal is to use my passion for science to make a meaningful contribution to society. Whether it's through passing legislation or through practicing as an intellectual property attorney, I am determined.
