About Chloe Gray

I'm an iOS software engineer currently based in Phoenix. I've been interested in computers since I was five. My family's Windows XP desktop had a screensaver of stars whooshing past the screen and I used to stare at that for hours imagining the places I'd go. Since then I've been fascinated by what computers could do and how they worked. Took some basic python courses from a friend's parents and from there decided to study it as my degree. During college I expanded both my knowledge and love for the field. I participated in a hackathon "Hack AZ" in January of 2020 with a team of fellow students which gave me hands-on knowledge of the development lifecycle. I interned with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council during the summer of 2021 and got the chance to work on real-world applications for the first time. After years and years of learning, I graduated in April of 2022. Now I work for PrePass, part of the PrePass Safety Alliance. PrePass develops applications and hardware to allow truckers to pre-check and bypass truck weigh stations, cutting down commute time and improving safety. Its solidified my love for iOS development. Swift is such a fun language and the team is wonderful. Some of my prior work for those interested includes building AWS Server-less applications, compiler development, data modeling, and virtual reality development in Unity. I'm well versed in many programming languages including Swift, Python, C, C++, and Java.
