Here to kick ass and own products - and I'm all done kicking ass. My experience covers areas such as large scale infrastructure upgrades, platform usability improvements and implementing business automation. Bringing a unique perspective to any project, I have an established track record of implementing innovative solutions to difficult technical problems. Previous to this, from 2011 to 2016 I played a central role in the growth of The Cambridge Satchel Company from a startup to a global fashion brand. In this time I managed the infrastructure and data of a multi-million pound retailer, supervised development of critical systems and lead the development of an API-led ERP system - powering the company into the 21st century. I combine a strong background in Software Development with extensive experience in Operations and Infrastructure in order to provide a comprehensive approach to the entire development lifecycle - from day one I guide my team to design a product that is not only efficient and successful, but also with a modern, agile implementation and seamless integration. Development & Methodology In today's Software Development world it is essential to lead with a complete understanding of modern agile practices. SCRUM certified under Mike Cohn & learning directly from one of the Industry's leading DevOps thinkers, I pride myself on bringing a supremely flexible, simplicity-first development style to any project, concentrating on rapid prototyping and lean principles to deliver products quickly and efficiently. Operations & Infrastructure Working in a rapidly growing Startup breeds a resourcefulness and ability to adapt to any requirement thrown at you. From managing the technical operation of a high pressure despatch department to personally designing and implementing a decentralised, low cost label printing solution, I have worn many hats, priding myself on my ability to adapt quickly to problem or situation.
