About Chloe Liu

I have a strong passion for creating films and stories that are fun and exciting. I enjoy watching cartoons and films that are mainly comedy/romantic in genre but I love exploring the dynamic range of genres in my spare time. I am currently working as a Production Manager at Cheeky Little! A career in the film industry is meaningful to me and I believe that I can contribute to the stories that are being told to our youths today. I am working towards a strong career leaning towards content for children, as I believe that creativity and stories help foster good morals and behaviour in our future. Furthermore, I love entertainment and being a part of creating impactful work. Prior to working in Animation, my entry into the industry was on large film sets for Young Rock (Season 1 NBC) as well as The Portable Door both as a Covid-19 Officer, aiding in ensuring crew followed protocols (wearing masks and sanitizing) as well as keeping the environment and sets clean and disinfected as often as possible. I realised then that every role on a project was important and I set out to pursue work in Production shortly after. My previous videography credits include selected projects for the Endeavour Foundation, SoDrama Singapore and Very! in areas such as transcription, editing and producing/1st AD. During my studies I have had the pleasure of gaining the opportunity to have been mentored by Cartoon Network's content manager Joanna Rosenthal during a Kidscreen Mentorship program. I was also blessed with the opportunity to be mentored as a Producer's Assistant by Meredith Garlick from Thomas Street Productions. I have also earned the Best Student Film award at the Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival in Winton 2019 for my Mockumentary "Winton with Gary". Currently, I am looking to expand my experience in the field and learn from every opportunity, and I deeply love what I do.
