With a passion for recreation, health and inclusion, I have found my niche in my work as a Health Services Lead in Primary Care. As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist by trade, I greatly value the role recreation, leisure, and play have in maintaining the health of individuals and communities. As a Health Services Lead, I work closely with interprofessional health teams to manage operational requirements, performance standards and support quality improvements. As the owner of AccessiBUILD, my expertise in accessibility consultancy goes beyond mere assessment; it's about fostering inclusive environments where leisure and health are accessible to all. Collaborating across sectors, our mission is to empower communities to thrive, ensuring everyone's right to meaningful access to recreation and health. My goal is to be a driving force in building capacity and support creating communities where everyone can thrive!
