About Chloe Rebelo

One thing about me: I grew to love Risk Management/Insurance, of course, by starting with a major in. Italian. Jokes aside, the First Year Abroad program at FSU’s Florence, Italy, campus ignited my goal of becoming fluent in Italian. Three years later, the language is now my second bachelor’s degree (via Dual-Degree Program). I am also a certified holder of the National Seal of Biliteracy. Upon returning to the U.S, a connection sparked between FSU’s acclaimed RMI program and I. With a heart for communication and a mind for analysis, the industry seemed to scream my name. Currently, I am sharpening my analytical skills by pursuing a minor in Business Analytics, eagerly delving into Advanced Excel functions & Tableau next semester. This past summer, however, interning at Gallagher, New York, NY I gained invaluable insights into production and sales. With over five years in the service industry prior, I leveraged my strengths in problem-solving, teamwork, and a natural affinity for competitiveness to contribute to a successful summer. Finally, as a recent scholarship trip recipient, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Lloyds of London, which provided profound insights into the international intricacies of insurance. I anticipate applying these learnings this December (2023) at the University of Munich, Germany, where I'll be presenting my research on Catastrophe Risk.
