About Chloe Testa

I am currently in my 10th year of teaching and have had the opportunity to work with so many different types of people. I enjoy developing my knowledge and skills, working on my Masters in English Literature alongside my role at Fullbrook. My passion is for my subject and I love to discuss and explore it with my pupils. Whilst not all students will love English they way I do, I absolutely believe they can share my passion for knowledge so I try to inspire this predominantly. Part of this comes from beyond the classroom so I take every opportunity to engage students outside of lesson through trips and experiences that enhance cultural capital. I have also begun teaching politics at A level. I have always been interested in politics, following local, national, and global developments with gusto, so the opportunity to teach this had to be taken. As with English, politics is best experienced first hand where possible so trips and visits are important to my curriculum. I pride myself on the fact that pupils feel comfortable approaching me and discussing issues whether academic or personal, as I think a safe space is a crucial part of the bigger school picture, and allows us to better work as a team to safeguard our pupils.
