About Chloe Young

As a high school student with a deep passion for STEM, I am driven by curiosity and the desire to make a positive impact. With aspirations of pursuing a career in medicine, I am dedicated to using science and technology to heal and address real-world challenges. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a committed changemaker in my community. Through leadership roles such as President of Vancouver's City Wide Youth Council and Secretary of my school’s student council, I have honed my ability to organize impactful initiatives, advocate for important causes, and inspire others. Through these experiences, I have led community-building initiatives, hosted awareness events, and established committees to address pressing issues in my city such as youth mental health, sustainability, and food insecurity. In addition, I have fostered a level of STEM expertise, having participated in specialized enrichment programs where I practiced lab techniques, conducted research, and designed innovative solutions to real life problems. I thrive in collaborative environments and am eager to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about STEM and creating a positive impact on my city.
