In my current role as a Child Welfare Specialist II, I’ve learned to navigate sensitive situations with empathy, communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds, and advocate fiercely for children’s well-being. I’ve supported families in crisis, built relationships based on trust, and worked closely with community partners to create paths toward stability and hope. My years spent leading programs at Timber-lee Christian Camp gave me the space to foster creativity and curiosity. I taught outdoor education classes, developed engaging curriculum, and led staff trainings on child development and safety—all with the goal of helping children thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I’m a natural collaborator and lifelong learner who values structure, compassion, and fun. Whether I’m writing a report, facilitating a hands-on lesson, or supporting a teammate, I show up with dedication, a positive attitude, and a deep belief in the potential of every child. Now, I’m seeking to bring my experience and heart into a classroom setting where I can teach, inspire, and support students every day.
