I am an experienced IT professional with over 20 years in higher education and enterprise technology, specializing in IT project management, system administration, and client services. My career has been defined by delivering scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that support the mission-critical operations of large, complex organizations. Currently a System Administrator 3 with UC Davis Student Housing and Dining Services, I combine enterprise technical expertise with leadership and mentorship. I serve as the lead technical contact for Dining operations, guiding IT components of major projects while collaborating with stakeholders across campus. Technical and project leadership highlights include: Enterprise Infrastructure – administration of Windows Server environments, IIS web applications, MS SQL databases, virtualization (Hyper-V, Azure HCI), and enterprise storage/backup systems. Application & Client Services – hands-on experience managing point-of-sale (Micros, Simphony, CBORD), workforce management (UKG Kronos), and digital signage platforms (Samsung MagicInfo, Poppulo). Mobile Device Management – administration of iOS/macOS environments using Intune and Jamf, enabling large-scale mobile deployments with security and usability in mind. Cybersecurity Stewardship – strengthened departmental security through Nessus vulnerability scanning, password management systems, PCI compliance leadership, and staff training on secure computing practices. IT Project Management – delivering end-to-end projects from planning and stakeholder coordination to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. I’m passionate about bridging technical depth with organizational leadership — ensuring IT infrastructure, applications, and end-user support not only function but empower operational excellence. With a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, I approach challenges with a process-improvement mindset, driving efficiency and measurable results.
