About Chris Ball

I am an experienced Product Owner at Sun Life Financial. I’m focused on implementing Pega across our Client Contact Centre. I began my employment journey in Sales and Marketing and this helped to build my dynamic presentation skills and communications abilities. Later I moved into Project based work as a Business Analyst aligned with PMI methodology and Lean Six Sigma. When Agile started to become the norm I became a Product Owner via Scaled Agile Framework. I have worked across large organizations with a world wide geographically dispersed team and believe that path to success comes from clarity and commitment to delivering value to the business stakeholder. I have worked in telecom and technology since 2006 and have worked in a hybrid/remote office since since 2009. People have praised my consultative and persuasive approach whether it is working in a traditional PMI/Waterfall project or an Agile approach. I have considerable experience across a number of systems and technologies including Azure Devops, SalesForce, Vlocity, JIRA, Aha, and many others. Whether it's executing tactical work or strategizing a new direction in a roadmap I believe the duty of a Product Owner is to approach each facet with an open mind and creative focus. I believe in work/life balance, considerate collaboration, and approaching each day as an opportunity to improve the world just a bit.
