Dr. Barnes plans to continue building upon his current skills while seeking work opportunities that will provide both drug development and clinical service experiences. When he began pursuing a career in research, it was his hope to develop new methods that would speed the process of drug development such that the time from bench to patient could be substantially compressed. Those ambitions haven’t changed. However, while in pharmacy school, his interests have expanded to encompass clinical services.
