About Chris Barton

I am a senior commercial executive with an impressive track record of delivering successful strategic and commercial business outcomes in both New Zealand and International markets. I recently started working with Xero as their strategic account manager for banking partnerships and I am very excited about supporting the growth of Xero's small business customers, as well as optimising the way these businesses interact with their banks and financial advisors. Prior to this I enjoyed a diverse career with Westpac NZ predominantly in commercial and retail banking roles. These included managing Westpac's strategic business partnerships with industry groups in NZ and Australia, managing change projects, strategic roles in industry specialisation, and running a specialist sales and service banking team in the Healthcare sector.
