Chris, after emigratingfrom the UK in 2001, joined Florida Hospital (part of Adventist Health Systems) and within a few months identified a large amount of revenue accounts that were being "missed" that his experience and expertize could rectify. After approaching (the then) Director (Matt Kiefer) our International Services Desk was set up. Working with many international companies (insurance underwriters, assistance companies, claim handlers and 3rd party payers). Chris, as sole operator of the International Dept, continues to work hard improving relations and working towards higher standards of excellence every day. Solely responsible for set up and initiation and ongoing performance of the International services department. Promoted to Senior International Relations Specialist March 2008. In recent years the International Desk, has been responsible for generating at least 35% of the company's anual revenue (2011 = 43%). Approached Florida Hospital with the idea of returning to FH in January 2012. Offerred possition at FH in May 2012 Medicredit/TOG closed their Florida office in June with no warning and laid everyone off (did'nt I know something there!) Specialties: International Medical Billing. Patient assistance/billing for all foreign visitors to Florida Hospital service centers around Orlando. Liaison with many major worldwide travel insurance companies. International Skip Tracing. Contract/Discount negotiation.
