Day to day disciplines include: commercial building LED upgrade design, ASHRAE 90.1 compliance, wireless control integration, lighting energy analysis, lighting retrofit and design, outdoor and landscape lighting design and installation, interior lighting design and installation, product sourcing, light fixture specification and customization, importing and supply chain management. Recently, Ive been learning about integration of other systems such as HVAC, security etc, integrating lighting controls into a single network (BACnet). Anything that allows the client to operate at a lower cost and more independent of external systems is a win-win for everyone. These are the best products and business ideas to develop. Specialties: LED technology, and currently studying emerging OLED technology. Studying photovoltaic power systems as well. Very interested in blockchain technologies lately. Im also interested in distributed technologies such as Etherium, and looking for ways to construct new business models using these trends. Education history: Classroom training in theatrical scene design, theatrical and entertainment stage lighting, various types of construction and engineering. Real world training in aspects of engineering, architecture and design, CAD modeling, electronics, advertising, website and video production.
