In my career I have gained vast knowledge of what it takes to support and sustain manufacturing facilities from a building management capacity as well as the Safety and Health culture. Never sacrificing Safety while maintaining efficiency and productivity. I use my experience as a millwright / Machine Tool Technician to analyze and improve many issues within the workplace. My more than 20 years experience in the Machine Tool and Manufacturing industry allow me to implement the tactics to reduce breakdowns and optimize scheduled maintenance. This supports my efforts for continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance and overall Maintenance efficiency. Through my years of experience I am also able to perform job safety analysis, and advise on new process development. I am directly involved with many of the day to day plant operations, and ensure we have a safe, compliant and profitable workplace. I have relied upon and utilized knowledge gained from my experiences in the field to shape my career. I can relate to the employees and the tasks they are involved in on a connected level, and I believe this helps me to communicate with them during safety training and advisements. Having worked as a Millwright helps me to analyze and review many operations for safe practices. More than 20 Years experience in the Machine tool and Manufacturing industry. I have experience in both Machining and Machine tool Rebuild, including CNC Troubleshooting / Repair. Specialties: Way Scraping, Way Grinding.( Master Way Scraper ) Way Flaking, Vast Knowledge of the geometric properties of Machine tools. I have experience in many grinding operations, I.D, O.D, Blanchard and also Machine way grinding. I operated one of the largest Machine "way" grinders on the east coast.
