About Chris Bisson

For a number of years, I’ve worked alongside UK Defence, National Security, and Intelligence leaders to solve one of the biggest challenges they face: turning complex, fragmented data into real-time, mission-ready intelligence.Data isn’t just a resource—it’s an operational advantage. But only if it’s accessible, scalable, and secure when and where it’s needed. That’s where I come in.I’ve helped MOD, Defence Primes, and Government organisations modernise their IT infrastructure to:* Eliminate data silos that slow down decision-making.* Ensure AI and analytics can run at full-scale, without infrastructure bottlenecks.* Enable real-time access to mission-critical data from edge to cloud.* Reduce cost and complexity while strengthening security and resilience. At VAST Data, I’m building out the Government, Defence, Space & Intelligence business, helping organisations unlock AI-ready data infrastructure that delivers speed, scale, and security without the usual trade-offs.I bring expertise in business strategy, go-to-market leadership, and Defence technology modernisation, but ultimately, my role is simple: helping Government and Defence build future-ready infrastructure that works for them, not against them.If you’re tackling challenges around AI, real-time data, or IT modernisation in Defence or Government, let’s connect.
