I strive for '100% living'. My name is Chris Blankestijn. A father of two young girls with a hospitality mindset. As a Team Leader VMB (Adults with Multiple Disabilities) at Bartiméus, I am dedicated every day to supporting adults with multiple disabilities, including a visual impairment. My role is focused on guiding and coaching my team, coordinating care, and optimizing the support we provide to our clients. With an emphasis on the professional development of my team members and creating a safe and motivating work environment, I contribute to Bartiméus’ mission: helping people with a visual impairment live the life that suits them. 100% living. In collaboration with other disciplines within the organization, I work on care plans aimed at increasing the independence and well-being of our clients. For me, it is essential to always strive for the highest quality of care and ensure that my team has the right tools and support to help our clients achieve their goals.
