About Chris Blong

I have worked in our family ice skating and events business from the ground up. Previously an international competitor in both figure skating and ice hockey. We have spent time developing our family owned business from a small one rink operation into two permanent ice rinks and temporary ice themed events company including a large annual winter event in Auckland's CBD and in other centres in New Zealand. We deliver events and production of various shapes and sizes through out the year. Paradice Ice Skating have two locations in Botany and Avondale and they are used for ice skating sport & recreation. We also host corporate and other private bookings at these venues Within the company I have had the opportunity to project manage a new build ice rink and various successful major renovation projects. We manage all aspects of strategic planning and implementation of both permanent ice rink and temporary events. We enjoy working on new challenges that require innovative solutions while working with great people and their brands.
