About Chris Borger

Chris Borger is an Edmonton based entertainer and educator. EDUCATOR Borger has extensive experience utilizing improv theory to teach professional development workshops (past clients include ATCO, EBA, HSAA, and Canadian Western Bank). As well, he has worked extensively as an Instructional Designer with the University of Alberta producing educational video resources that promote effective pedagogical strategies for post secondary instructors. ENTERTAINER Borger has been a professional improv comedian for over a decade, joining Rapid Fire Theatre in 2011, and also performs regularly with Atomic Improv (Donovan Workun). He is a founding member of the sketch comedy group Marv n’ Berry, recently appearing at the San Fran Sketch Fest, and Dallas Comedy Festival. Marv n’ Berry has also produced a short sketch series for the CBC (Keeping up with the Albertans, Edmonton Walking Tour). Professional Comedic Improviser & Host (Rapid Fire Theatre & Atomic North America extensively performing live comedy shows -Opening Act of 2022 Great Outdoor Comedy Festival (with Tom Segura, Amy Schumer, Pauly Shore, and Bobby Lee)-Acted as Main Stage host of the 2022 Calgary Folk and Music Festival (for audience of over of professional development workshops in a corporate environment (past clients include: ATCO, Edmonton Business Association, HSAA, Canadian Western Bank, and the University of Alberta Faculty of Nursing)-Corporate entertainment coordination across Western Canada representing both Rapid Fire Theatre and Atomic Improv
