Currently diving into a new chapter as the Technical Support Analyst at Jisc for the Building Digital Capabilities Discovery Tool. where I get to combine my love for problem-solving with my passion for supporting digital infrastructure in education. I’m someone who thrives on making systems work better for the people who rely on them, whether that’s resolving a tricky access issue or helping a colleague navigate a new platform. Before this, I worked as an Associate Licensing Manager at Jisc, negotiating digital content agreements that delivered real value to academic institutions. My earlier career in higher education libraries, spanning acquisitions, serials management, and customer service, taught me the importance of clarity, collaboration, and always keeping the end user in mind. I’m known for being calm under pressure, curious by nature, and always up for a challenge. I enjoy learning new tools, mentoring others, and finding creative ways to improve services. Outside of work, I’m usually on two wheels, riding up and down the hills of Gower and South Wales, or out for a run. I’m a lifelong music lover and record collector (with a soft spot for minidiscs), and a huge Faith No More fan. I also gig when I can and love getting lost in the works of Conrad, Dostoyevsky, and T.F. Powys. When I’m not reading or riding, you’ll probably find me watching football, rugby, or snooker.
