Financial executive responsible for all aspects of the global accounting operations of a publicly traded media and education company with about $2 billion in revenue. Oversight includes: • Financial reporting for NYSE-traded public company; • Operating a shared service center for transaction processing; and • Executing and governing global accounting processes and policies. Experience includes ownership of accounting functions such as controllership, external reporting, regulatory requirements and support to investor relations, as well as the conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the accounting integration with another large global public company. Past responsibilities include leading Corporate FP & A group and management of the finance function for a business unit, which encompassed decision support and FP & A activities, as well as business combinations and disposals.
