About Chris Cody

I have earned a wealth of experience throughout my professional career; experience being the hardest teacher. One who gives the test first and the lesson after. I have worked at every level of the residential construction process from the bottom up. The lull in the construction industry led me to enter the retail medical cannabis than later the adult-use cannabis industry. In this role I worked with other industry stakeholders to start the largest cannabis industry organization in Washington State now called the Cannabis Alliance. I worked with numerous neighborhood organizations like the White Center Community Development Association, the Chamber of Commerce, Belltown Business Association, and the Coalition for Drug-Free Youth. I helped lobby in Seattle, Olympia, and Washington DC for the medical cannabis and adult-use industries. After exiting that field I moved back towards my roots in custom home construction. I received my broker license from the state of Washington in real estate and took a position with a local contractor as a lead carpenter and project manager on their well estimated and organised projects. I have developed great relationships with subcontractors and clients and have kept their projects on time and on budget.
