About Chris Collins

First Sergeant Christopher Collins was born in the small town of Warrensburg, Mo. Shortly after graduating High School he joined the Army as a UH-60 Helicopter Repairer. He attended Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina followed by AIT at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. 1SG Collins’ assignments include; UH-60 Helicopter Mechanic in the 7th Battalion 158th Aviation Regiment, Geiblestadt, Germany; Crew chief and Gunner in Support of the U.S Embassy in Beirut Lebanon, and Cyprus; Squad Leader and Standards Instructor in 2nd Battalion 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Calvary Division, Ft. Hood Texas; Platoon Sergeant, Recovery Team Leader and Technical Inspector in the 603rd Aviation Support Battalion 3rd Infantry Division Mechanized, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia; Senior Instructor/Writer and Shift Supervisor in the Aviation Logistics School, 1st Staff and Faculty, Ft. Eustis Virginia; Assistant Station Commander and Recruiter in Phoenix Recruiting Battalion, Phoenix, Arizona; Platoon Sergeant, 2nd Flight Platoon, C-Co 4-101st ABN DIV, Ft Campbell, Kentucky. First Sergeant, C Troop 7-17th CAV REGT. 1SG Collins has attended numerous military schools to include: UH-60 Helicopter Repairer Course; Aviation Life Support Equipment Course; Underwater Egress Training Course; Combat Lifesaver Course; Primary Leader Development Course; Basic Non-commissioned Officer Course; Advanced Non-commissioned Course; Service School Instructor Course, Commander and First Sergeant Course and Recruiter Course. 1SG Collins is married to Angela Renee Collins and they have three daughters and a son. Their Daughters are Wynter Rose age 13, Hayley Christine age 12 and Ryleigh Sierra is 5. Their son is Christopher Ellsworth age 7.
