Mr. Combs is a driven energy executive with a proven track record of success as part of multiple energy and tech industry start-up and growth phase companies during his career which began in Mr. Combs brings a wealth of operational, engineering, business development, management, and executive experience with small, mid cap, and also large publicly held organizations. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in ushering in 100% natural gas burning fracturing equipment (direct drive and electric) and on-site power generation (reciprocating engines, aero derivative turbines, and public utility / microgrid) into the US shale market and now into the data center / commercial and industrial markets. Mr. Combs’s background includes roles with Schlumberger, Evolution Well Services, Praetorian co-founder, VoltaGrid co-founder, NexTier. He has coordinated several private placement and public equity capital raises with focus on OFS technology startup and scaling. Prior to beginning his career in the energy sector, Mr. Combs served in the United States Marine Corps and majored in Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech University.
