Atlas Team is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. More specifically, Atlas Team is dedicated to providing all kids, regardless of economic or educational choice, the opportunity to play competitive amateur level (junior high/high school) sports, free recruiting services to student athletes qualified to play at the next level, academic support in the area of SAT/ACT preparedness and free training in healthy physical fitness, leadership skills and religious growth. I have been lucky to have one great ride so far. I have been all over this Great Country of ours and the World thanks to my service in the United States Military. I am a Life Member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart for wounds I received in action in Afghanistan. I currently am a 100% Total and Permanent Disabled Veteran. After serving our Country as a member in a specialized unit of the Military, and as a Federal Agent, I was given a great opportunity to start a Tactical Fugitive Unit/Missing Child Unit (covering 115 Counties) as a State Police Sgt. I was honored to be able to travel the State as a Certified Trainer teaching Officers and Departments how to survive traumatic wounds and situations, & a course in situational awareness in everyday life. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and graduated on the Dean's Honors List. After years of wear and tear on my body and having witnessed enough ugly in this world, I decided it was time for a change. My wife, Jodie, and I have adopted all 6 of our children and I wanted to be home more. I joined my local Rotary Chapter and eventually became the Chapter President. I am also honored to be a Paul Harris Award Fellow in Rotary International. I started volunteering as a Varsity Football Coach and was blessed to become the Head Football Coach. I also served as the Marketing Director and the Fundraising Chairman for a private Christian school. I have coached here in TX for going on 12 years and won a State Championship in 2016. My greatest victory however has been working with and helping some amazing kids grow. I formed Atlas Team, Inc to help kids follow their dreams of going to College & find the right school/coaches & earn academic and athletic scholarships. We do this 100% free. Finally we also have built a Football program and Cheer program to give all kids the chance to play.
